D is 7 months!

D is 7 months!

Can you believe it?  It has been an incredible 7 months.

D is weighing in at 21 lbs and is 28.5 in.

We started solid food this month.  Well, as solid as you can give a baby.   He loves it!  If you are not fast enough he will start to cry.

I had some friends over to my parents pool, it was nice but at the end we had to get out because it started to thunderstorm.

D came to work with me a couple times this month and it was a lot of hard work!

Jon and I celebrated our B-Days with a joint cake.  I am the Packer and Jon is the Hawkeye.  For the record, I'm a UNI Panther fan.

A friend came into town from Colorado and brought her baby girl.  D and E got to meet.

I think that is all I have for our month, but I leave you with more cute pics of D.

6 Months

D is 6 months!

Where did the time go?  It has been a busy but  good month.

D weighs in at 20lbs. 1oz. and is 28.5 in. long.  That is 90th and the 99th percentile.

D wants to go all the time, this doesn't work so well since he can't sit up on his own.  He is almost there.  Once he is up there will be no stopping him.  He is a very happy baby, he loves when we sing and when we say ahh-choo. 

Uncle Mike painted my living room and dining room.  They look great!

I had Vacation Bible school at church for a week, so D and Jon had some good Daddy Son time.

D went to his first county fair, the Plymouth county fair.

For National Night Out we went to a local park and had dinner.  D swung for the first time.

A few other things that happened this month:

• The Junior League had a pool party for families.

• My Aunt Carrie and Uncle Mike where here with their granddaughter S!  Earlier this year S sent us her Flat S and my mom, D, my sister, and I took it around to all the sights, so we took the real S to all the places her flat self went.  We had a great time.

• We had family pictures taken.
